Source control
imux shows Git status, staged files, and diffs in the sidebar so agents and terminals share the same evidence surface. GitHub and Cursor Origin are first-class remotes — imux is not a forge. Clavue Worktree is a working copy.
SCM sidebar
Open any Git repository in a workspace. The source control pill shows branch, ahead/behind, staged, modified, and untracked counts.
- Stage / unstage files from the sidebar
- Inline diff preview before commit
- Branch quick pick without leaving the workbench
- Status stays visible while agents run in adjacent panes
GitHub and Cursor Origin
Push, fetch, and review stay on the git host you chose: GitHub and/or Cursor Origin. Dual-push is allowed. Clavue Worktree is never origin.
- gh pr create on GitHub; Origin PRs on origin.cursor.com
- imux observes local Git state — it does not replace either forge
- Agent Chat records the push policy; it does not rewrite remotes by itself
Parallel copies
For parallel agent writes, use git worktree locally, imux .imux/worktrees/ thread trees, or clavue-worktree. See the Worktree doc — still push to GitHub and/or Origin.
Troubleshooting
SCM reads local Git state only — it cannot fix remote or permission issues on GitHub.
- SCM pill missing — folder may not be a Git repo root; open the repo top level
- Counts stale — run fetch from terminal or refresh workspace
- Large monorepo slow — narrow workspace root to the package you edit
